Ah… back to our roots in Central New York. Syracuse, to be exact. It’s been several years since we’ve spent Autumn on the East Coast and we were excited to take in the changing leaves and get some apple picking in.
We headed to Beak and Skiff orchards – where we used to pick apples in our younger years. The best part? They’ve started making their own hard cider and distilling apple based liquors! Just the ticket on a cool New York afternoon.
We also had the chance to head out to the Finger Lakes to do some antique shopping. So many great finds! We got stocked up on some cool objects to fill the shelves at our upcoming NYC holiday markets. Most of our time in Syracuse, however, was spent prepping for the holiday season and packing up wholesale orders. Expect to see a lot of items tagged “Made in Syracuse” this winter!
Amidst all the holiday prep work we took a quick road trip for weddings in New England. On to Gloucester and Connecticut!
