After a very rainy week spent driving East from Nevada, we landed in CHICAGO. Such a dreamy, historic American city. We instantly fell in love with the art and amazing architecture throughout town. We set to work exploring downtown, taking in many of the iconic ChiTown sights. Oh, and we ate deep dish pizza. And drank beer. Great things to do in Chicago.
We had very busy back-to-back weekends including Renegade Craft Fair in the neat Wicker Park neighborhood and North Coast music festival, where we met tons of interesting people and grooved to some good music, including the amazing Wild Belle.
We also spent a fruitful week printing and sewing, tagging everything we made with “Made in Chicago”.
We did, however, take a day off to hang out on the shores of Lake Michigan where we explored the dunes and (of course) went swimming.
Chicago has so many amazing aspects to discover, and one (or even two) weeks is hardly enough – so we’ll surely be back before long.
But, Autumn is calling and it’s back to New York for us!
